For prevention of panel zone yielding and increasing the panel zone stiffness, we have used doubler plates with thickness of 5 mm on two sides of panel zone of model C2.
Doubler plates with thickness of 5 mm are also welded on two sides of panel zone for prevention of panel zone shear yielding.
Doubler plates with thickness of 5 mm were welded to both sides of panel zone to prevent shear yielding.
